Grand Hotel Europe (Russian: Гранд Отель Европа; known as Hotel Evropeiskaya until 1991) vies with Corinthia Nevskij Palace Hoteland Hotel Astoria for the title of the most luxurious five-star hotelin Saint PetersburgRussia. One of great hotels of the 19th-century Europe, it opened its doors to the public on January 281875, replacing an earlier inn situated on the same site.
